Preliminary judging process is now taking place. Shortlisted finalists will be notified early July and winners will be announced end August.

 

If you haven't heard from us by then, your entry has unfortunately not been successful at this time.

 

We had many entries, so please do not let this discourage you and keep on writing songs and enter next year if you are still within the age range.

1- A five day music academy held at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, (LIPA).  This is an outstanding opportunity for aspiring singer songwriters to gain industry knowledge and knowhow.

 

The music academy covers a range of master-classes including vocal coaching, music production, songwriting development, music and song promotion and how to approach the music industry. 

 

Winners also receive music, production and sound engineering guidance in preparation to perform their winning song and one further song of their choice at  the prestigious Awards Ceremony held in the Paul McCartney Auditorium at LIPA.  Professional session musicians are available for winners who will perform to an audience of music industry professionals and promoters, with a special invitation to friends and family. 

 

       All expenses are paid and also include transport, accommodation and food. 

       Please note; all under 18s will be under the supervision of  “CRB” checked staff.

 

2 - A private consultation held at EMI Publishing with A&R

3 - A recording session at EMI’s state of the art London studios. 

4 - £500 Yamaha voucher for the winner’s elected school to spend on equipment.
